Just this past week, our photographer friend Michelle Massey Barnes posted a really nice review of our store to her blog. (You can read Michelle's review here). This local photographer bought shoes for her entire family at Vogel's and Foster's. We didn't have all of the colors or sized that she was looking for and she was surprised when we told her that we are happy to special order and that we even special order children's footwear.
It got us thinking. Many people don't realize that we are not only happy to special order, the success of our business depends on it. We are a small local retail store. We don't have the space to carry every item that can be found in the catalogue. As Michelle realized though, our catalogues are full of goodies and we are happy to get them in for you. It's that easy. Michelle purchased infant sized tangerine Keen's for her daughter, youth sized blue Keen's for her son and pink Keen's for herself. We don't have all of those colors and sizes in the store, but we will have the shoes to her in no time.
So next time you are in, let us know if there is something that you like. As long as it is available from the supplier, we would love to put in a special order. You are worth the phone call and nothing makes us happier than helping get the fit and the fashion that you are looking for.
