Meet Francie Wesorick | Art on the Sidewalk July 30 & 31

We are looking forward to the Sounds and Sights festival taking place at the end of July.  To help celebrate this special event, we are going to have two local artists set up outside our store.

Here is some info on one of the artists, Francie Wesorick, a fantastic portrait artist.  She'll be joining us Friday and Saturday afternoons.  Please stop by and say hello!

Francie Wesorick is a portrait artist. She creates portraits using both graphite and colored pencil. She  chooses this medium because it allows her to create detailed representations of her subjects.


Francie  received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design from Michigan State University in 1992. She has worked in the graphics industry, but her true love has always been drawing people. She loves to capture the beauty of everyday moments- a grandmother looking lovingly at her granddaughter, or a child playing joyfully on the beach. Her three children have been her favorite subjects to draw, and she now draws portraits on commission.
